Visitation Day (May 2009)

A Family Visitation has been done by FJY last May 15, 2009

I was so happy to be part of it. Visiting families for me is tradition of every Filipino in terms of “Bayanihan, Fiestas, etc.” Because the bonding of a community is strengthened in terms of this.

Our group has been selected by the Salvatorian Brothers and I was very happy that I was chosen to be a part of this activity. We were divided into 4 groups and we started the plans. After several days of preparation, Friday in the afternoon we started to move on. We went on our respected places.

I was with Bro. Marlon and Bro. Dominic together with Krisken. We brought food for the family. As we reached the house, the owner of it let us in with an open heart.

I read the Gospel for that day and we understand it. We talked everything; personal life is one of that. After the entire meeting, I was asked to say the prayer for thanksgiving, and we went on. I cannot forget the day that we helped strengthened a family faithful.
